The ingredients needed to make Dump Cake Instant Pot:
  1. Get 1/2 box cake mix (and I'm using yellow)
  2. Get 21 oz. Can of pie filling
  3. Get 4 tbl. Butter

Soooo good served warm with icecream. It was questionable as to if it works because there is no water added to the recipe. The gal made in the pot, layered. I can't say if it works or not.

Instructions to make Dump Cake Instant Pot:
  1. Spray a pan or bowl that fits in your instant pot. I'm using a 6 inch spring form pan here.
  2. Put pie filling in bottom of pan.
  3. Pour 1/2 box of cake mix on top of pie filling
  4. Cut butter into small pieces, place on top of cake mix
  5. Cover with foil
  6. Put 2 cups water in IP liner, the trivet and your cake
  7. Put IP top on, set for pressure cook 25 minutes
  8. Let natural pressure release 5 minutes, than quick release remaining pressure. Remove from IP, remove foil, let sit 5 minutes to set.
  9. It's best to eat warm, when you cool it (refrigerator) the butter solidifies in the crust, and it breaks instead of cuts. But, it's really good either way.

I am FINALLY making a dessert! Don't worry, the cheesecake will be coming soon - but for now, this apple dump cake will have to do! Just three ingredients again, and you can use any fruit you like.
