  6. Make ready 6-7 leaves Holy Basil (Tulsi leaves)
  7. Get x Edible Camphor (Kapur) a generous pinch
  8. Make ready 1 pinch Salt

Decant or strain the jaggery solution through a fine-meshed strainer. Add the cardamom, dried ginger and lime juice and mix well. The spiciness of the ginger and pepper is well balanced by the large amount of jaggery (unrefined whole cane sugar) that lends a natural sweetness to the drink and also adds to the health quotient. The lime juice adds a bit of zest to an otherwise sweet and spicy drink.

  1. Take a jug/bowl. Pour water,add jaggery powder. Stir & Let it sit, till it dissolves.
  2. Add lemon juice,cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, salt and edible camphor.
  3. Mix them properly and sieve it.
  4. Garnish with holy basil leaves and Serve chilled.
  5. Serve Chilled!
